Back From WYD08 SYD

hey everyone!
yeah i know, i haven't been posting lately and i apologise for not updating my blog. things have been busy at work. my coordinator has resigned and she's passing some of her work to me and my colleague. i've got tons of things to remember and yes, it's driving me crazy! can't absorb too many things at once but i'm trying to remember all of the stuff she's taught me.
wyd08 syd was great! i really enjoyed it. i didn't really interact much with other people around the world. don't get me wrong, i did speak to pilgrims i've met during the event. i did a lot of reflection of the things i've done/accomplished now and in past years - whether they're good or bad. i know i am not perfect but i try to be a good person and wyd08 has helped me heal some of the things i have been grieving for a long time.
meeting the pope was such an overwhelming experience! i was teary when i saw him and seeing him blessed everyone during his motorcade, vigil and final mass helped me enlighten my mind and soul.
i do hope that all the things i've prayed for will be granted sooner or later. as always, i am greatful for all the blessings i receive from our lord.

thanks again friends and readers for visiting my blog. i was very surprised that i still got a lot of "hits" this month (over 12,000) considering i've only posted 3 entries. thanks again.
