Weekend Update

i told myself that i'd try to post more entries this month...
i had a busy weekend (as always!). my siblings and their partners and i attended our friend's engagement party last sat. the engaged couple hired a bar lounge where finger foods and drinks were provided all night. yeah, everything was for free! the food was served around 8.00pm so you could imagine most of their guests were hungry already. lucky us (my siblings and i), ate a little before we left the house. serving of food was kinda slow in the beginning as there was only 1 waitress. platters of sushi came out first. good thing we were the first table to be served 
then the pita bread with homus dip came after then the chicken pie, vegetarian pie and fries. i had 4 glass of lemon lime bitter. ok, i don't drink alcohol but i did try the vodka with raspberry. after a few sip i stopped as i was getting heartburn. that's one of the reason why i hate drinking alcohol.

last night we had dinner at my sister's house. i cooked carbonara pasta with mushroom and bacon. my bro-in-law cooked fillet fish with thai green curry. mama brought fried fish and beef in butter sauce. we watched a bit of "morgue" but had to stop it after 10mins as we found it too boring and slow. then angelina jolie's "wanted" was played but i didn't get to finish it as my parents wanted to go home already. arghhh... i asked my sis to give me a copy of it instead.
i better get ready as i have an early start today at work, 2.00pm. i'll be leaving the house soon.
